About the Show
HIP!-EX 2008
In 2008, the first ever apprentice plumbing and heating exhibition was launched at the Reebok Stadium, Bolton. Over 30 colleges attended, some from as far away as Anglesey and Reading.
More than 1500 visitors passed through the doors over the two days to take advantage of the show discounts and live demonstrations. Many of the local trade attended the event following newspaper and radio adverts.

Unique amongst trade shows, HIP!-EX reaches out to the next generation of trades people, and has been specially designed for trainee plumbers and heating engineers, apprentices and their tutors.
HIP-EX! will not only include stimulating exhibition stands from respected industry leaders, but will also host visual and interactive demonstrations.
STUDENTS & APPRENTICES
All students and apprentices who attend HIP!-EX will receive a Certificate of Attendance at the end of the show.
‘THE CHALLENGE’
In keeping with the lively and energetic atmosphere expected at this event, HIP!-EX will also stage ‘The Challenge’. College apprentices go head-to-head in a variety of entertaining competitions.
PRIZE DRAW
On both days, the first 100 to arrive will be entered into a mystery prize draw!
EXHIBITION STANDS
A number of exhibition stands will surround the hall where manufacturers will be displaying new products and some manufacturers will be offering SPECIAL STUDENT DISCOUNTS ON TOOLS AND WORKWEAR!
LIVE DEMOS
Leading manufacturers offer live demonstrations of their products, including assembling, fault-finding and repair. There will be an opportunity to ask questions.
HOW TO GET THERE
FREE coaches can be arranged to transport you to and from the event (minimum of 12 people). If you think you might need us to arrange your transport then please let us know numbers as soon as possible.
